	ORIGINAL ONE \| BIO Original One. Dedicated rap lyricist, Mc and artist. Born, bred & raised on the tough streets of Hackney east London. He is a co-founder of the Hip Hop collective and record label, The BKS based in London (England). Other crew members include GE (aka Mr 75) & NBG. The man who's been plying his trade since the nineteen naughties destroying mics even on the same night as legendary hip hop artists which include Lords of the Underground, Cookie Crew & Wrecks n Effect to name a few! After various record label frustrations through this period, the boy went for dolo & pressed his own 12" (For the Brain b/wYUBYG?) in 2000. He sold his wax directly to record stores across London as well as shipping copies across the UK by various promotional means. Many favourable reviews were to follow from the likes of HHC, various pirate radio stations & Hip Hop clubland alike. Tha 'O' followed this success in 2002 by becoming a finalist in the BMG/Busta Rhymes talent stand off which took place at the BMG/SONY offices in Fulham, west London to an enthusiastic judging panel which included Tim Westwood from BBC radio 1 & peers alike. But this was only the calm before the storm! In summer 2003, he dropped the banger, 'Check the O'. The video accompanying this record received spins on MTV Base and spent nearly a year on the Channel U playlist along with gaining favourable reviews in Touch and HHC magazines alike. In 2004, Mr 'O' declared war on the weak, bland, gun-toting wannabe gangsta, thugged out, hoody all weather rapper on the hilarious, 'Learn How 2 Rap'. This video again received airplay on Channel U (UK) and also Rage TV(ABC network, Australia) as well as spins on Triple J’s radio show on the same network respectively. During recent years, Original One has extended his acting arm. As well as auditioning for various roles in TV commercials, he found himself cast in Hip Hop movie, Life ’N’ Lyrics which starred Ashley Walters (So Solid Crew/Hustle/Get Rich Die Trying) & more recently (and notably), became the stand in/acting 'double' for Timbaland during the making of Madonna's video, '4 Minutes' Ft. Justin Timberlake! Other notable achievements include his track, ‘Where U Bin?’ gaining an incredible 98% favourable response within the first four days of airplay broadcast by over 8,000 Fusion Radio (Fusion Radio London, 107.3 & Fusion Radio Chicago) listeners gaining their prestigious '5 Star Artist Award' as voted by the prior (Now NRG Radio), the same song featuring on a BBC 1Xtra podcast, ‘Change My Style' video being playlisted by MTV Base & MusflashTV (Uk/Europe), featuring on Coast 2 Coast Mixtape (Vol.57) hosted by Nina Sky & featuring an A-list U.S roster with your boy repping UK to tha fullest, appearing on Funk Ya Head up Vol.2 & Vol.3 Mixtapes hosted by Critical Beatdown magazine and his joint, 'Ya Over' appearing on 'The United Kingdom of Crooks' Mix Cd (Hosted By Rack LO & Mr CRF) now officially on sale at the Spitfactoryonline website!
